Saying goodbye to family is never easy
Saying goodbye to family is never easy! We had such a great time and are so fortunate that they made the time to stay with us and take in the history of the Pilgrims (and Steve’s family)! Photos are from our last night together where we went out for dinner and walked around Bourne.
We left Buzzards Bay and made our way to New York. We are staying in Schodack Island State Park - a park that is on an island in the Hudson River . The park itself is quite lovely! Our site (#8) is HUGE, but many of the trees and vines are encroaching and touching our RV. The “Riverside” campground is 50A electric and many of the sites are very secluded like this one. There are lots of trails to walk or bike within the park and a small dock where people can park their boat or go fishing.
This park is definitely on our list of parks to come back to!
