Exploring the George Eastman Museum
We explored the George Eastman Museum in Rochester. If you know any of our history as a couple, you know that Steve and I met at a photography club many moons ago. The museum was split to cover both the history of photography and film and the history of George Eastman.
While it was interesting, it only lightly covered the actual photography side. They have a gallery dedicated to working with younger kids and a main gallery which had a current exhibit of movie posters from all over the world in the 1960’s. We did get to see the evolution of photography equipment, which was really neat to see and learn about. My favorite was the widest lens ever made for 35mm film, which was a 6mm f2.8 fisheye Nikkor lens.
