We’re wintering in Texas this year, y’all! The drive from Glen St. Mary, Florida to Texas was a long but uneventful 3 days. Along the way, we stayed in a few really neat Harvest Host locations!
Crying Eagle Brewing was a wonderful host! The space is huge and with a very large, level parking lot, dog-friendly outdoor patio, and a great selection of food and drink. It’s located in Lake Charles, Louisiana. We stayed the night for free through Harvest Hosts (you need a paid membership for this!), and definitely checked out the food and drink selections! Their jalapeño cheese curds were delicious!
Make sure to stop by there the next time you’re passing through - it’s well worth it!
